I doubt he even exists. It’s just a made up name with a made up title to try and convey trust.

These scams often originate in desperately poor third world countries like Nigeria. Their priorities are dealing with grinding poverty and violent crime. They don’t have the time or resources to investigate some guy sitting in an Internet cafe sending scam emails to thousands of people.

Whoever he is, niether he nor Yahoo are able to do anything about these scams. The messages come from computers which are taken over by hackers and used for this purpose. It is almost impossible to catch these people. The main thing is for us to be careful not to fall for their scams. Don’t answer just delete them Good luck and be careful.
