The only way to win is to pay to play. So if you didn’t purchase a ticket in the UK in the past 180 days, you are definitely not a winner. Also the jackpot is always higher than that, and the second prize is rarely an exact number like £500K. So all in all, I’d bet you my car that you didn’t win.

Have you seen any publicity or news about this? Don’t you think it would have been BIG news if there were such a thing? And further, did you enter a lottery – buy a ticket – submit your email address or name? Of course it’s a scam. It’s spam email and that’s where this should have gone.

It is likely a scam. At some point, they will ask you for money to “process” your claim.
