Did you enter a UK lottery? No? Definitely a hoax. It always amuses me that these emails always use bad grammar and strange English – you’d think they’d at least try and get that right.

It probably is a hoax. Did you even enter to win the Lottery?

I was trying to find somebody to rent my apartment and something like this came, obviously not lottery though. They were transferring funds and then wanted the extra transferred back or something weird like that. But in the end it would have ended in me losing quite a bit of money.
Anyway. I probably wont hurt to call the number, but I really really really would suggest not giving any information, it’s just too iffy. And if you do call it you might wind up getting quite a few telemarketing calls coming through ’cause they might be able to get your phone number through that so it might just be the bait for annoying calls. You really won’t know unless you brave it, which is just frightening.

Best of luck!

P.S. Does this lottery have a website you might be able to check out fo details about their process of contacting winners?

LOTTERY SCAM:-
?Its purely a ‘SPAM’. Do not respond to any of those messages as they intend to steal your personal information. It is also enough for one E-mail to bait users into more of such lottery winning games. It is entirely a ‘FAKE’. Who would give you free money if you had never participated in any of the contests?

?Its an easy way of getting personal information and send you more of such messages to fill up your Inbox! Yahoo keeps telling that they never send lottery E-mails to anyone saying that you’ve won XXX amounts. Never go to a site, which has contests and hosts mail lotteries.

?People get thousands of E-mails everyday saying that they’ve won lottery prizes and amounts and even go to the extent of claiming their prize. NEVER RESPOND TO IT!!
Folks are also getting duped by such kind of activities and fall to the trap of spammers! These lotteries confirm your working E-mail address and intend to send more of such mails

Hope the above Info Helps!!

Best Wishes and Take Care :) ??

This is soo funny!! I just emailed these 2-bit scam artists back……..
MailerDemon returned it stating there is no longer this email address that had come from “yahoo@mylasia” lol

This is what I said……..

Haha!! Do people actually fall for this*???? Get a job and stop trying (not very well I might add) to be a hacker

Oh and by the way, you should at least come up with a plan intelligent enough to go after people who actually HAVE money not single mothers

HMMM… This looks familiar……
