UK Lottery
jhonny d asked:

I recieved an email say that I won the lottery with amount of 2.035.350.00 GBP (UK pounds). I reply to them, and gave him my name, phone and address, but not any ID or bank informations yet, but he ask me come to UK to sign all winnings documents, or if I can’t go he introduces me an attorney to render my winnings. I contact her by email and she send me her picture, phone #, and her professional view. and ask me send 500.00 GBP for her processing fee and i will get my winnings money by transfer to my personal account. Should I send her money?.
Please give me an advise.

It is a scam! Don’t send them money if you didn’t apply for anything!!

It is a scam. It’s not actually any UK lottery. It’s just a scam.

All lotteries are, in a way, a scam, but this is just a flat out scam.

Definitely a scam! The UK lottery is just a twist on the old Nigerian scam letter.

Ask yourself this:

1. Why would you have won a lottery where you never purchased a ticket?

2. What email service did the original email use? Yahoo? Excite? Or something else?
If so, wouldn’t the UK lotto be rich enough to have their own website with its own email domain?

3. Look at the original email. Do you see your name in it? Are the “TO” or “FROM” fields blocked or hidden? Probably because the scammer sends this email out to *T H O U S A N D S * of people.

The UK lotto email is a fake. It’s only good for one thing: deletion.

Read these articles on the FAKE UK lottery, one of which is a report from the UK Police

This is most certainly a scam,

moreover, these days, you can easily find out more about a company using the Internet in a few minutes. From a company’s website, you can get details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company’s customers.

You can find more detailed information about a company at
