Fake and Spam! Never fall for that. They will tell you that you had won a lottery. When you reply, they will request for personnel details and finally will ask money for paperwork, bank charges etc. SPAM! SPAM! SPAM!

Of course it’s a scam. Microsoft does not conduct lotteries and give away money. Yahoo does not conduct lotteries and give away money. And this question is asked dozens of times a day here. It’s spam.

yes i have had lottery people message me and say i have won 100,000 but i have to put $1 before i can get it all there after is your credit card number so they can take all this money out

Yes it’s a scam, they have mailed this same thing out to a ton of people and whoever responds will get a follow up email something to the affect that you have to give them up front money on the taxes to recover ur winnings. The money will than be sooned wired to ur checking acct.
This is a scam. Who would ever be notified via email about winning a lottery ?

Yes. Over the years I’ve won more lotteries than I could poke a stick at. I think I won another just yesterday.

The way the scam works is that they’ll end up asking you to pay some sort of administration fee up front.

It’s a big and popular scam. ALWAYS follow the golden rule! If you don’t know the person sending you an e-mail then delete it. Microsoft will never solicit you like this.

yes it is a scam. they’re going to ask some money/account number from you and they’ll take money from you.
