I’m getting at least 10+ e-mails (1000s in the last couple of months) from the UK lottery as well as others like it, Nigeria, etc. I don’t know a way to block these e-mails because they have figured out if you use a different e-mail address each time, you can keep on sending them. Am I going to have to change my address to make it stop?

Should be pretty easy, add a custom filter for the subject or keywords in the body. They’re all the same essentially so blocking one will block most of them.
If any SCAM contains any impersonation of Yahoo! then forward that scam to:.
Also follow the informations about fraud bogus,false scams,spams in there.
You can report your scam for feedback there:
Upgrade your Yahoo! mail to Yahoo! Mail plus..it has better spam and scam protection capability but needs monetary subscription.
Or down load and install McAfee anti-spam-phishing mail filter in your pc but it will cost you some dollars.
After logging in tick the mails. And click spam button. It will block the mails and diverts them into you bulk folder. Or open the mail and click unsubscribe. I think it doesnt work. So better click spam button.
Never ever, ever, ever open the email and click unsubscribe. You will be getting 10,000 instead of 1,000.
go to the tools menu and click on message rules .
filter on the word lottery in the subject and select delete in options
use the help if youve never done this before
