I have an email from chevron international lottery announced an amount of 50,000 uk pounds.And ECOWAS FUNDING AGENCY OF NIGERIA. has announced a donation of 2.5 million US Dollars. For getting donation money from NIGERIA they asked courier charges & insurnce charges is about 1,040 us dollars is it geneine one will pay the amount is necessary to getting cheque from them. pl. clarify my doubts.

If you are in contact with this Nigerian person and have given any of your credit card or bank details, contact your credit card company and bank as soon as possible before they wipe out your account leaving you with nothing.
And remember this SCAM works because people are greedy for FREE Money, there is no such thing.
There are quite a lot of these scams going around at present. They come from a lot of different sources. I have received about a dozen different emails with similar content. BEWARE – DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS UNLESS YOU WISH TO LOSE YOUR IDENTITY AND MONEY.
